Motorcycle Riding: The Fun in The Ride
Aside from a motorcycle allowing you to get through the way in a long traffic, why are there so many people who love riding a big bike rather than a car? Well, the answer is very subjective and it depends on how people perceives motorcycle riding in the general sense. However, there is more to just a "ride" for riders who loves their motorcycles so much. For them, riding their two wheels in open air is more of a feeling—satisfaction and liberty rolled into one.
People who want to play it safe are most likely not to choose riding a motorcycle. It is highly dangerous, it chooses the weather you can ride, and possibilities of hitting the unfortunate exist. Moreover, if we will come to realize, nothing can protect us against the inevitable. We can take safety and preventive measures, and that is the best we can do. Wherever we are, no matter what we do, 'there are always snakes in the forest' as they say, and it depends on us if we will not cover ourselves as we go through the journey.
I am writing this blog for a purpose, and that is to encourage people to find their courage and try to feel the exhilaration riding brings. My first ride was an awesome experience, and nothing beats the happiness when you come to learn and get a full grasp on something you are afraid of trying. No, I am not suicidal or whatever, I am completely sane. I am just a person who came to know that resting in my laurels will not allow me to learn more, understand more, and enjoy what living is. There is more to life, and experiencing it will start from trying. Get into the action, and you will know what it is there that you will lose if you will miss.
If Jorge Lorenzo, the MotoGP 2012 World Champion, began riding motorbikes at the age of three, I on the other-hand, consider myself as a late bloomer in motorcycle riding. I don't even know how to ride a bike until I was 20 years old, when I was struggling to learn my first motorcycle ride. It was when a read articles about car and motorcycle racing that caught my interest about riding. I read that most of the riders Grand Prix is having today started in young age, and they are getting their world titles in early adulthood. I don't have any plans of joining a race though. Learning to ride a two-wheel which was my fear then is enough for me to feel fulfilled in this area of my life. However, if you happen to read this blog, and a big fan or motorcycle riding, no one can stop you from realizing your dreams. You create it with your will as you mold your character.
As we go through the blog, I am hoping that you will learn some things about motorcycle riding. Most of my future post here will discuss of safety tips in motorcycle riding. I am really smitten with the topic, and I wish that readers will be as well. If you are a rider, you can leave comments so we can improve the write ups here. You can share your best riding experiences and the not so best ones :). Hope we can interact some more here!
Let' Enjoy The Ride!
